USAFM Reflection of Genocide
One stage of genocide I saw that really spoke to me was dehumanization. I saw that in multiple things. A few examples were the numbers they gave the men, women, boys, and girls in concintration camps. Thats how they were identified. So instead of saying, "Come here bob." They would say, "Come here number one." Ripping you from that human feeling of being a person. Another example would be when they wouldn't let Jews own certian house hold items, like cars, radios, etc.

Jewish Live
175,000 Jews lived in Paris France. The Jews either lived there or found refugee there during the war. German invaded France in May of 1940. In 1940-1941, Germans arrested around 10,000 Jews. The ones that were not arrested had to wear the Yellow Star of David badge. German officials started to arrest more Jews, they were held at Velodrome d'Hiver sports arena in south-central Paris, they were starved for days there. After that they were then deported to Auschwitz-Birkenau. 60,000 Jews remained in the city.
Normal life was like people just congerating and having fun together. They can be together and have fun. As I was looking through the photos, most of mine were very different from what Jewish life was like. I had a hard time finding one but I did find one. The people in this photo are having fun and being together at a public place. It was similar in the ways that the people are being together, not caring what other people are doing and just having fun. Difference being that the Jewish people most likely didn't go swimming and have fountians.

Changed views on Genocide
My views are now that genocide is never seen very clearly. It's like looking through fogged glass. You can't see what is going on until its like half way through. It seems has if to get justice for a genocide people take it into their own hands. These people that commit genocide don't like to commit to doing a genocide. There needs to be more laws in place for them.

I-Witness
Edward Bedikian looks like he is serious and mean. Like you wouldn't want to mess with him. He probably was kind of scared of being taken away with the girl. I think that he didn't get taken away with the girl and he stayed strong through out the genocide. I bet he escaped and hid until it was over.

Classification/Symbolization
I think that they become a problem when they are pushed to the edge. For example, when you classify and say you are this, and you need to show you are this so we dont let you do somethings. Symbolization like, when a symbol becomes a target for a group. Like if you have a tatoo, you should die. stuff like that.

What Causes Genocide? My Questions About Genocide.
To me, a genocide is like a mass murder of defenseless and/or innocent people. It starts by someone wanting a group of people dead for a reason.
The questions I have is what defines a genocide, like is there a number of people that would have to be killed for it to be called genocide?
